The old site mixed current and obsolete pricing. This page reflects the confirmed plans and the new platform flow only.

Accounts and profiles

Is it free to browse ScoutingLink?

Yes. A viewer account is free and is intended for browsing, saving profiles, creating shortlists and comparing candidates. Paid plans are for people and clubs publishing listings.

Who can create a paid profile?

Players and football staff can choose Academy, Pro or Elite. Clubs can choose the Club plan. Every public profile must pass moderation before it appears in a directory.

Can someone under 18 have a profile?

Yes, but the account and listing must be owned and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Private information remains protected and the listing receives additional review.

Can I edit my profile after publishing?

Yes. You can update the profile from your account. Material changes may return to moderation before they become public.

Subscriptions and payments

What do the plans cost?

Academy is £5 monthly or £50 yearly. Pro is £10 monthly or £100 yearly. Elite is £20 monthly or £200 yearly. Club is £15 monthly or £150 yearly.

Is there a free trial?

No free trial is currently advertised. The free viewer account lets you assess the browsing tools before paying to publish a listing.

How are payments handled?

Stripe securely processes subscriptions. ScoutingLink does not store full payment card details.

How do I cancel?

Open Billing in your account and continue to the Stripe billing portal. The portal shows the subscription state and available cancellation options.

Discovery, privacy and safety

Does a profile guarantee a trial or contract?

No. ScoutingLink helps people present professional information and become easier to discover, but it cannot guarantee contact, trials, contracts or employment.

Are email addresses and phone numbers public?

No. Direct contact details, exact dates of birth, guardian details, addresses and evidence documents are kept private. Contact begins through a controlled enquiry.

Are all scouts and clubs verified?

No. Verification may be offered after evidence review, but users must still perform their own due diligence. A badge is not a guarantee of conduct or opportunity.

How do I report a concern?

Use the contact form and choose Safeguarding concern. For immediate danger, contact emergency services or the appropriate local authority first.
